THE STORY OF DONNA

We are Donna's grieving daughters, Alicia and Christie. Our mom had the most incredible outlook on life and you couldn't help but smile when you were around her. She loved to travel and her family was everything to her. Simply put, our mom was magic and she sparkled in everything she did.

As a highly regarded Psychiatric Nurse, our mom was passionate about helping those with mental illnesses and dedicated her entire life to this cause. Ironically, when she suffered from her own mental illness, we believe the system failed her and she was allowed to end her own life, against her family's and doctor's wishes.

We want to honour our mom by continuing her life's work of supporting people suffering from mental illness and to ensure no other person slips through the cracks.
